Q:  thank you so an awful lot for doing this interview with us.  Let's beginning with yourselves: who are the three Heath Brothers?

Nicholas: we are three full of life teenage boys who love Jesus and like to sing. We in no way intended to commute or even become a gaggle. have been just jogging through the open doorways God has for us. We at all times pray "God, open the doors you want to be opened and shut the ones you are looking to be shut."

Q:  on your new album you paid tribute to your mom in "mom's Day music."  tell us greater about your mother and her have an impact on in opposition t your tune and faith.

Christian: Our mother began out just sitting us on barstools in our kitchen and buzzing individual notes to us. She was a pastor's spouse with three little children in diapers and she asked God what she might do for Him. She taught us to sing on account of the phrases and she knew that they'd stick in our heads once we were older. Oh, and she does not play the piano so to this day, we love to do a cappella.

Q:  When did you guys start singing?  and how did you get signed to Horizon facts?

Nicholas: we've been singing on the grounds that before we have been in kindergarten.

We in reality were just working towards in a room with our producer and some of the people from that record label came in as a result of that they had heard us from the other room and began asking questions. The relaxation is heritage.

Q:  On this new album you started working with Roger Talley as your producer, what's it like working with him?

Nicholas: Roger is superb. He receives us and is familiar with the place we're coming from. the first time we met him he truly pulled us up on the stage to sing in one of his concert events. He has become a detailed family unit friend and mentor.

Q:  You guys should be fanatics of Josh Wilson!  you have recorded two of his songs in your new album. Why did you decide to listing "Dream Small" and "Self less."

Clayton: really we have not ever heard of Josh Wilson before in our lives. We randomly heard 2 songs 2 distinctive instances and had been drawn to them. A godly mentor in our lives let us hearken to "Dream Small" and we actually appreciated the phrases so we truly recorded it for him. The phrases to "Self less" are so significant for youths and everybody and that's what drew us to it.

Q:  I actually like "supply It to Jesus" which was written by using Nicholas.  what's the story behind this tune?

Nicholas: We had been praying and simply asking God to give us the songs that He would want us to sing and that could minister to people.

I had an idea enjoying round in my head and that i went downstairs and recorded it. I have a friend who went via a really difficult time in his lifestyles and it changed into challenging not to question why, and that i felt like God helped me to jot down this song with the optimal answer that any of us can do about any intricate circumstance we are going through. here is our most quoted track, because we want the phrases too!

Q:  Do you have a favorite song from the brand new album?  And if you do, why?

Christian: well we like all of them but our favourite song is definitely "scent of Smoke." it's a powerful track in regards to the 3 Hebrew boys who came out of the fire and they did not even smell like smoke. We consider that we serve a God it's powerful sufficient that we are able to come out of our trials and not be destroyed through them.

Clayton: We had a kid come up and inform us that he had been taken out of his home for baby abuse and to him and to so many others, we wish to say that you can come out of any difficulty you face and it doesn't need to smash you. You shouldn't have to "smell like Smoke".

Christian: We also made a fab fun tune video that really makes this tune come alive. you can find it on YouTube. Clayton did the enhancing for it and we did a lot of it in our returned yard.

Q:  There don't seem to be many individuals for your ages who need to sing Southern Gospel music.  Why do you suppose here's so?  and how will we get more youthful listeners to be drawn to Southern Gospel song?

Nicholas: neatly we would now not agree with ourselves consultants on that theme. however we do have lots of young individuals and older people that listen to our track. We simply want to display that it can be enjoyable to be a Christian and that regular young americans can still love Jesus!
