Cyprus: Christian Orthodox protesters rally in opposition t nation’s Eurovision song entry 'El Diablo'

Greek-Orthodox Christian protesters rallied outdoor the Cypriot state broadcaster's headquarters RIK in Nicosia, to protest against the country's Eurovision song entry entitled 'El Diablo.'

Protesters could be considered conserving icons of saints and crucifixes, as well as a banner studying 'Cyprus loves Jesus.'

"nowadays we're right here to spread our opposition to this satanic music which praises the devil. we're Orthodox Christians and we do not settle for this factor," observed one protester.

The tune handed the semi-closing stage of the Eurovision tune contest and singer Elena Tsagrinou will perform within the finals this Saturday in Rotterdam.

She has pointed out that critics have misinterpreted the lyrics, which according to her is set an abusive relationship between two fanatics.
