Maroon 5 Member PJ Morton Releases First Gospel Album

Grammy Award-successful keyboardist from Maroon 5 PJ Morton launched his first gospel album, announcing he became ready to go returned to his roots in church tune.
Morton grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana, where each his father and mom are pastors, The Christian put up studies.
The musician spent lots of time in church, and his father, Bishop Paul S. Morton, is a successful gospel artist with lots of his own albums. Morton was the song director at his father's church.
His fathers launched many gospel songs like "Let It Rain" and "Bow Down."
So, gospel tune is in his blood.
anticipated to follow his father's career, Morton instead pursued R&B track. He joined Maroon 5 in 2010 as their keyboardist, and became an professional member in 2012 in keeping with NPR.

In a press release to The Christian submit, Morton referred to, "It sounds so crazy now, however Kirk desired to signal me years in the past, but he desired me to do gospel track." He added, "I'm at last doing a gospel album."
